Flipster is a next-generation magazine service that allows patrons to browse digital versions of the latest issues of popular magazines the Library subscribes to. You can access content on your computer. Magazines can be downloaded to Android phones and tablets, Apple phones and tablets, and Kindle Fire tablets for offline reading anytime, anywhere through the Flipster app.

Freegal Music is a downloadable music service for Bartlett Public Library District cardholders. All you need is your Library card number and PIN. With access to the Sony Music Entertainment catalog, it offers hundreds of thousands of songs, over 100 genres of music, and more than 50 record labels, all without having to download software or have any digital rights management (DRM) issues to deal with.

  • If you have an Apple device (iPhone/iPad/iTouch), you will be able to download the Freegal Music App by doing a search for "Freegal Music" in the App Store.
  • If you have an Android phone or tablet, you will be able to search for "Freegal Music" in the Google Play store.
  • You can download the Freegal Music App for your Kindle Fire through the Amazon Store. Freegal Music is suported on Kindle Fire 3rd generation and up.



Hoopla is a streaming service that allows you to instantly borrow free digital movies, music, eBooks and more, 24/7 with your Bartlett Public Library District card on your smartphone, tablet and computer. Use your Library card number and PIN to set up a hoopla account.

  • Stream or download up to 5 titles total among the following formats per month:
    • Movies: 3 day loan
    • Television: 3 day loan
    • Music: 7 day loan
    • eAudiobooks: 21 day loan
    • eBooks: 21 day loan
    • eComics: 21 day loan
  • Titles are always available - no holds, no waiting.
  • Items are returned automatically on due date.
  • Download the Hoopla Digital app for your mobile device.

OverDrive is an eMedia collection featuring downloadable audiobooks and eBooks for Bartlett Public Library District cardholders. All you need is your Library card number and PIN. eBooks and eAudiobooks can be downloaded to your computer and exported to a portable listening device such as a Nook, iPod or MP3 player. You can download OverDrive's "Libby" app on your smartphone or tablet to access OverDrive also.
