Public Computers

Microsoft Windows Vista compatible computers provide access to Microsoft Office, WinWay Resume Deluxe, Internet Explorer, and educational software for preschoolers. They also provide access to a variety of on-line research databases. These computers are located throughout the library.

 

PC Reservation System

To use these computers, you must have a valid library card in our system to make a reservation and accept the Internet Policy.

• Computer usage is limited to 3 hours per day per patron.
• Default password is your birth month and last 2 digits in your birth year (MMYY).

Adult & Teen Services Department
Three (3) computers for adults 18 and over with:

• Windows Vista
• Microsoft Office 2007 (Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word)

• Research Databases
• Internet Explorer
• WinWay Resume Deluxe
• Printouts are available in color or black and white for 15¢ per page.

Casual Computing
Twelve (12) computers with:

• Windows Vista
• Microsoft Office 2007 (Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher and Word)
• Library Catalog
• Research Databases
• Internet Explorer

• Printouts are available in color or black and white for 15¢ per page.

One (1) ADA computer with:

• Windows XP
• Microsoft Office 2003 (Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Word)

15-Minute Express

Two (2) computers with a 15-minute time limit for quick access to email are available across from the Reference Desk.

 

Youth Services Department

Six (6) computers for preschoolers with:

Four (4) computers for students needing homework or reference help from a Youth Services librarian with:
